Does the Cut Change the Flavor? Surprisingly, Yes.
A cutter cannot change the tobacco inside a cigar. It cannot add sweetness, remove spice, or rewrite the blend. Yet the cut can still change what you perceive. By altering the size, shape, and position of the smoke outlet, a straight cut, V-cut, or punch can influence draw resistance, smoke density, mouthfeel, temperature, and where the smoke lands on the palate. The blend stays the same. The delivery system does not.
